- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Stir in the garlic powder and black pepper into the cream cheese mixture. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
- Lay out the salami slices on a clean surface, slightly overlapping if necessary to create a larger surface area for spreading.
- Evenly spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture over each salami slice using a spatula or knife.
- Carefully roll up each salami slice tightly, starting from one end to form a log.
- Slice each roll-up into 2-3 bite-sized pieces. Arrange on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cream cheese mixture. You can also add other finely chopped ingredients like chives or cooked bacon bits. These can be made a few hours ahead and refrigerated.
