  • 1 Matcha Green Tea Powder Ceremonial grade recommended
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 8 oz Unsweetened Almond Milk Or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup Ice Cubes
  • 1 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup Optional, adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Combine the matcha green tea powder and almond milk in a blender. Blend on low speed for about 15 seconds to ensure the matcha is fully incorporated without clumping.
  2. Add the vanilla whey protein powder, ice cubes, vanilla extract, and sweetener (if using) to the blender.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. Check consistency. If the shake is too thick, add a splash more almond milk and blend briefly. If it is too thin, add a few more ice cubes.
  5. Pour the Matcha Protein Shake into a tall glass.
  6. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with a light dusting of extra matcha powder on top.

Notes

For an extra boost of healthy fats, consider adding 1 tablespoon of chia seeds or flax seeds before blending.
