  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce or more to taste. Frank's RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce is a popular choice.
  • ½ cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing for a tangier flavor)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided

  2. Prepare Your Chicken: If using canned chunk chicken, drain it thoroughly and flake it into a medium-sized mixing bowl. If using rotisserie chicken, shred it into bite-sized pieces until you have about 2 cups. Add the shredded chicken to the bowl.

  3. Combine Creamy Elements: To the bowl with the chicken, add the softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing, if preferred). Make sure the cream cheese is truly softened; this will make mixing much easier and prevent lumps.
