- Lay out slices of bread on a clean surface. Slice rolls or loaves if needed.
- Spread mayonnaise, mustard, or your spread of choice evenly over the bread slices.
- Layer slices of deli meat and cheese on top of the spread-covered bread.
- Add vegetables and pickles on top of the meat and cheese for added texture and flavor.
- Top with optional extras like beef, avocado, sprouts, or olives if desired.
- Close the sandwich with another slice of bread. Cut into halves, quarters, or triangles, and secure with toothpicks if needed.
Notes
Wrap sandwiches tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 1–2 days. Avoid adding tomatoes or cucumbers too far in advance to prevent sogginess.
