Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 240 ml warm filtered water (about 40–50°C)
  • ¼ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt finely ground
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice about ½ lemon
  • Optional
  • ½ teaspoon raw honey
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

Equipment

  • Heat-safe glass or mug
  • Teaspoon and tablespoon measuring spoons
  • Citrus juicer (optional)
  • Small whisk or spoon

Method
 

  1. Warm the water until it reaches a comfortable drinking temperature (not boiling).
  2. Pour into a mug and stir in the pink salt until completely dissolved.
  3. Add lemon juice and stir again.
  4. If desired, mix in honey and/or cayenne.
  5. Sip slowly on an empty stomach and wait 15–20 minutes before eating.

Notes

For best results, use real Himalayan pink salt—not regular table salt.
Fresh lemon juice is preferred over bottled for flavor and nutrients.
Avoid reheating in the microwave if you’ve added honey; warm gently on the stove instead.
Use a straw to protect tooth enamel if concerned about citrus acidity.
