Ingredients

Strawberries
  • 1 cup Strawberries hulled and sliced
  • ½ cup Rolled Oats (uncooked)
  • ½ cup Plain Yogurt unsweetened, plain
  • ½ cup Water (or unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Silicone popsicle molds
  • Ice cube trays

Method

  1. In a blender, add the hulled and sliced strawberries, rolled oats, plain yogurt, water (or unsweetened almond milk), and chia seeds.
1 cup Strawberries, ½ cup Rolled Oats (uncooked), ½ cup Plain Yogurt, ½ cup Water, 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined. If you prefer a slightly thicker consistency, add a little less water; for thinner, add a touch more.
  3. Carefully pour the blended mixture into silicone popsicle molds or ice cube trays. For smoothie sticks, silicone popsicle molds with handles work best. Ensure you don't overfill them.
  4. Place the filled molds in the freezer. Allow them to freeze completely, which typically takes at least 4-6 hours, or until firm to the touch.
  5. Once frozen solid, carefully pop the smoothie sticks out of the molds. Serve one or two as a refreshing and healthy treat!

Notes

Store frozen smoothie sticks in an airtight container for up to 1-2 months. Thaw slightly before serving. Consult your veterinarian for personalized feeding recommendations.
