- In a blender, add the hulled and sliced strawberries, rolled oats, plain yogurt, water (or unsweetened almond milk), and chia seeds.1 cup Strawberries, ½ cup Rolled Oats (uncooked), ½ cup Plain Yogurt, ½ cup Water, 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined. If you prefer a slightly thicker consistency, add a little less water; for thinner, add a touch more.
- Carefully pour the blended mixture into silicone popsicle molds or ice cube trays. For smoothie sticks, silicone popsicle molds with handles work best. Ensure you don't overfill them.
- Place the filled molds in the freezer. Allow them to freeze completely, which typically takes at least 4-6 hours, or until firm to the touch.
- Once frozen solid, carefully pop the smoothie sticks out of the molds. Serve one or two as a refreshing and healthy treat!
Notes
Store frozen smoothie sticks in an airtight container for up to 1-2 months. Thaw slightly before serving. Consult your veterinarian for personalized feeding recommendations.
