- Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. Finely dice them and place them in a medium-sized bowl.
- Peel, core, and finely dice the fresh pineapple. Add it to the bowl with the strawberries.
- Finely dice the red onion and mince the seeded jalapeno. Add both to the bowl.
- Chop the fresh cilantro and add it to the bowl.
- Squeeze the fresh lime juice over the ingredients in the bowl. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Gently stir all ingredients together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- For best flavor, cover the bowl and let the salsa chill in the refrigerator for at least 15-30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
