- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Get a medium-sized mixing bowl ready.
- In the mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken and mashed unsweetened applesauce. Stir until thoroughly mixed.1 cup Cooked Chicken Breast, 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- Gradually add the whole wheat flour to the chicken and applesauce mixture, stirring as you go, until a dough forms. You want it to be firm enough to handle.1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- Lightly flour your hands and a clean surface. Spoon small portions of dough (about a tablespoon each) onto the prepared surface and gently roll or flatten them into biscuit shapes. You can also roll the dough out slightly and use small cookie cutters.
- Place the shaped biscuits onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the biscuits are firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let the Three Ingredient Chicken Dog Biscuits cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months.
