Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee, cooled completely
  • 1/4 cup milk (whole milk, 2%, or your preferred dairy or non-dairy alternative)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk adjust to your sweetness preference
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
Optional toppings
  • Whipped cream
  • chocolate syrup
  • caramel drizzle
  • cinnamon

  • Tall glass
  • Long spoon

Method
 

  1. Brew your favorite coffee and let it cool completely. You can speed this up by refrigerating it or brewing it strong and pouring it over ice cubes until melted.

  2. In a shaker or a tall glass, combine the cooled coffee, milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.

  3. If using a shaker, add a generous amount of ice, seal tightly, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds. If using a glass, add ice and stir very thoroughly with a long spoon for at least 30 seconds.

  4. Fill a separate tall glass with fresh ice cubes and carefully strain the iced coffee mixture over the fresh ice.

  5. Optionally, top your iced coffee with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel drizzle, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

Store leftover iced coffee in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Do not freeze.
