Method
- Ensure your green beans are thoroughly cooked until tender. Chop them into small, manageable pieces suitable for your dog’s chewing ability. If using canned pumpkin, make sure it’s 100% pure pumpkin puree and not ‘pie filling’ which contains spices and sweeteners that can be harmful to dogs.1 cup cooked, plain green beans, 1 cup cooked, plain pumpkin puree
- Cook the lean ground turkey or chicken thoroughly in a pan. Drain any excess fat and ensure it’s fully cooked through. No oils, seasonings, or broths with additives should be used.1 cup cooked, lean ground turkey or chicken
- Prepare your brown rice according to package directions. Ensure it is cooked until soft and fully done, not al dente.1/2 cup cooked brown rice
- In a large bowl, gently combine the chopped green beans, pumpkin puree, cooked ground meat, and cooked brown rice.1 cup cooked, plain green beans, 1 cup cooked, plain pumpkin puree, 1 cup cooked, lean ground turkey or chicken, 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
- Drizzle the olive oil over the combined ingredients and mix everything together until well distributed.1 tablespoon olive oil
