- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and unsweetened plain yogurt. Stir until thoroughly mixed.1 cup unsweetened plain yogurt, 2 ripe bananas
- Add the xylitol-free natural peanut butter to the wet ingredients. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and uniform in color.1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- Gradually introduce the whole wheat flour (or oat flour) and rolled oats into the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms. If the dough seems too sticky, add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time.1 cup whole wheat flour, 1/4 cup rolled oats
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use your favorite dog-shaped cookie cutters to create your treats.
- Place the cut treats onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the treats are firm to the touch. They should be chewy but not fall apart easily.
- Allow the Yogurt Peanut Butter Banana Dog Treats to cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your happy pup.
Notes
